I started this website because, when I got my first betta fish, I had absolutely no clue how to care for it properly. Back then, I fell for all the common myths and misinformation out there and genuinely thought I was doing the right thing. And I want to share everything I know with you guys and want to know more about what i can learn from you guys!

I started Aquarium Nerd because when I brought home my first betta fish, I realized just how confusing it was to find reliable, beginner-friendly information. Like many new hobbyists, I fell victim to outdated myths and incorrect pet store advice, and sadly, my fish paid the price. Determined to do better and help others avoid the same mistakes, I decided to create this website as a trustworthy resource that shares clear, accurate, and practical aquarium care tips.
